Investment Committee

Under the Estonian Development Fund Act, the international advisory panel on investments, the Expert Committee, is an independent body that analyses preliminary choices made by the Investment Division. The Expert Committee does not make decisions, but presents its assessments of companies' potential while drawing on its business experience and expertise in given areas. The committee can make suggestions regarding investment terms or further project development, if necessary.

The Development Fund international expert committee comprises:

Dr. Killu Tõugu, has a doctorate in molecular biology and experience in the field of venture capital, at the moment managing Hercules Technology Growth Capital in San Diego, USA;

Miska Hakala, has lead Nokia strategy in the field of multimedia, was a member of the board at Osuuspankki and now works as the Global Account Manager for F-Secure;

Teet Jagomägi, is the owner and CEO of the geoinfosystem development company AS Regio;

Bo Henriksson represents the engineering area and is the Manager of ABB Baltics, an international company specialising in the area of energy and automatic equipment;

Expert Committee Chairman Ardo Reinsalu, who is the General Manager of the international company Curonia Research which deals with healthcare technology. Reinsalu was incidentally one of Microlink's creators.
