Small Estonian company wants to be listed on London stock exchange

12.06.2009

BBN: A web site www.isepankur.ee, which was launched in February this year, wants to be listed on London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market in three years, also to expand to Sweden and Finland, aripaev.ee reports.

Pärtel Tomberg, member of management board got the idea couple of years ago when reading an article on P2P lending in US and UK.

According to the plan private persons would have made loan deals in amount of EEK 250,000 in the first year.

In reality the number was achieved in three months. IsePankur forecasts transaction volume for the first 3 years to be about EUR 1 mln.

Loan agreements are reached through an action.

The users must identify themselves with ID-card or Mobile-ID, which means there are actual people behind the offers and their credit behaviour can be checked.
