Estonian to become deputy head of Directorate-General of Enlargement

BBN: The European Commission decided today to appoint Henrik Hololei, current head of office of vice president Siim Kallas, to deputy head of DG Enlargement, writes Eesti Päevaleht.

According to a press release issued by the European Commission, Hololei will oversee 400 staff members of DG Enlargement

 

and replace the Commissioner Olli Rehn, if necessary.

The press release did not specify from which date Hololei will take his new office.

Hololei has been employed by the Commission as head of office of Siim Kallas since 2004.
