Enterprise Estonia invested 2.5 bln kroons into new projects in six months

Baltic Course: In the first half of 2009, the foundation Enterprise Estonia has supported new products for a total of 2.54 billion kroons, writes Äripäev.ee/LETA.

1.2 billion kroons of this amount has been invested into developing technology.

CEO of the foundation Ülari Alamets stated that most of the money have been invested into technology development centres, enterprises’ product development projects, investments into visiting environment and developing local public services.

“In the six months of this year we have managed to make more investment decisions than during the entire year of 2008,” said Alamets. He added that the total volume of investments to be made by Enterprise Estonia in 2009 is 5 billion kroons.
